Commemorating the deaths of 39 Vietnamese migrants in the U.K. in 2019, The Melting, filmed by the cinema and thermal cameras, addresses the connections between migration, surveillance technologies, exposure, and thermal violence. The film aims to examine racist border regimes through the critique of media, and at the same time, hopes to bring a remembrance of the dead.
